A high-altitude road journey across Ladakh's dramatic landscapes - from the mountain passes of Manali and Sarchu to the turquoise waters of Pangong Lake, remote Hanle, and the timeless beauty of the Taj Mahal in Agra.

Journey Through the Roof of the World

This 14-day expedition takes you through one of India's most extraordinary landscapes,  Ladakh, before culminating at one of the world's most iconic monuments, the Taj Mahal, in Agra. Beginning in Delhi, the route winds north through Chandigarh and Manali, ascending through high-altitude mountain passes via Sarchu into the cold desert plateau of Leh.

From Leh, the journey ventures into Nubra Valley with its sweeping dunes and double-humped Bactrian camels, then continues to the azure expanse of Pangong Lake. The route then extends into the remote frontier of Hanle, crossing the Umling La and Mig La passes, before returning through Leh and ending with an unforgettable visit to the Taj Mahal at sunrise in Agra.

Discover Ladakh's Raw Wilderness

Ladakh is a land of contrasts, barren yet beautiful, remote yet accessible in summer. Vast plateaus flanked by snow-capped peaks, ancient Buddhist monasteries perched on cliffsides, crystal-clear rivers, and skies unspoiled by light pollution make this one of the most immersive travel destinations in the world. This tour is designed to balance adventure and comfort, allowing you to experience Ladakh at a pace that respects altitude acclimatization.

The Nubra Valley leg introduces the stark beauty of high-altitude desert terrain, while Pangong Lake's constantly shifting colors offer a spectacle unlike anything else on earth. Hanle, one of India's highest inhabited villages, sits near the astronomical observatory and offers unparalleled dark skies for stargazing.

End at the Eternal Taj Mahal

After the rugged splendor of Ladakh, the journey transitions to Agra, home to the Taj Mahal, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a symbol of timeless love. A sunrise visit to the Taj Mahal and an exploration of Agra Fort offer a poetic contrast to the raw mountain landscapes encountered earlier on the trip. From Agra, the tour concludes with a return to Delhi.
