Day 1: Arrive in Delhi

Welcome to India. On arrival in Delhi, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is free to settle in, recover from your journey, and take in your first impressions of the city, perhaps with a stroll through a nearby market or a quiet evening meal. Overnight in Delhi.

Day 2: Delhi

Today is a full day dedicated to exploring India's capital. Delhi is a city of extraordinary contrasts, ancient and modern, chaotic and serene, all at once. Your day will take you through key highlights, including the UNESCO-listed Qutub Minar, the imposing Humayun's Tomb, the grand sweep of Rajpath and India Gate, and the lanes of Old Delhi around the Jama Masjid. You'll also pass through Chandni Chowk, one of Asia's oldest and busiest markets. Evening at leisure. Overnight in Delhi.

Day 3: Delhi to Jaipur

After breakfast, you travel to Jaipur, the Pink City and capital of Rajasthan. The journey by road takes approximately 5 hours and offers glimpses of rural India along the way. On arrival, check in and take the afternoon to explore at your own pace. In the evening, enjoy a tuk-tuk ride through the illuminated streets of Jaipur's old city, a wonderfully local way to experience the city's energy after dark. Overnight in Jaipur.

Day 4: Jaipur — City Tour & Tuk-Tuk Ride

A full day in Jaipur. The city's highlights are spectacular: the hilltop Amber Fort with its mirror-inlaid halls and sweeping views; the ornate Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds), whose latticed facade is one of India's most iconic images; and the City Palace complex at the heart of the old city. You'll also visit the Jantar Mantar, the remarkable 18th-century astronomical observatory. The tuk-tuk ride allows you to weave through the bazaars and smaller lanes that larger vehicles cannot reach — a highlight in itself. Overnight in Jaipur.

Day 5: Jaipur – Abhaneri – Fatehpur Sikri – Agra

An immersive travel day that connects Jaipur to Agra via two remarkable stops. First, Abhaneri, home to Chand Baori, one of the deepest and most beautiful stepwells in India, a geometric marvel of over 3,500 steps descending thirteen stories into the earth. Then, Fatehpur Sikri, the abandoned Mughal capital built by Emperor Akbar in the 16th century, is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site perfectly preserved in red sandstone. Arrive in Agra in the late afternoon. Check in and rest. Overnight in Agra.

Day 6: Agra

The morning begins early with a visit to the Taj Mahal at sunrise, the best time to experience it, when the light is soft and the crowds are thinner. One of the Seven Wonders of the World, the Taj was built by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife, Mumtaz Mahal, and stands as the greatest monument to love ever constructed. Later, visit the nearby Agra Fort, another UNESCO World Heritage Site and former seat of Mughal power. Afternoon at leisure, perhaps time at Mehtab Bagh across the river for a view of the Taj from the opposite bank. Overnight in Agra.

Day 7: Agra to Rishikesh

After breakfast, depart for Rishikesh. The drive takes approximately 6–7 hours and passes through the plains of Uttar Pradesh before the landscape begins to rise toward the Himalayan foothills. On arrival, check in and make your way to the Ganges. If timing allows, attend the evening Ganga Aarti, a moving ceremony of lamps, bells, and chanting performed at the river's edge at dusk, a ritual that has taken place here every single evening for centuries. Overnight in Rishikesh.

Day 8: Rishikesh

A full day in Rishikesh to explore and simply be. Walk across the famous Lakshman Jhula or Ram Jhula suspension bridges, explore the temples and ashrams lining the riverbank, visit the local market, or spend time sitting by the Ganges. Rishikesh is also the adventure capital of India,  white-water rafting on the Ganges is available for those interested. In the evening, attend the Ganga Aarti once more; no two evenings here feel quite the same. Overnight in Rishikesh.

Day 9: Rishikesh to Delhi - Departure

After a final morning by the Ganges, depart for Delhi. The drive takes approximately 5–6 hours. On arrival in Delhi, there is time for any last sightseeing or shopping before your evening transfer to Indira Gandhi International Airport for your onward flight. End of tour.
