About Tour

Journey Through the Hidden Valleys of the Himalayas

This carefully crafted 14-day tour takes you through some of the most serene and lesser-explored Himalayan destinations in northern India. Beginning in Delhi, the journey winds through the spiritual banks of Rishikesh, the oak forests of Dhanaulti, the tribal highlands of Chakrata, the ancient temples of Hatkoti, the apple orchards of Narkanda, the pristine Tirthan Valley, and the iconic mountain town of Manali - before returning to Delhi.

This is not a tour of famous landmarks alone. It is a slow, immersive journey into mountain life - through valleys where few travelers venture, along rivers that few outsiders have rafted, and through villages where tradition is still alive in its fullest form.

Experience the Diversity of the Himalayas

Each destination along this route represents a distinctly different face of the Himalayas. Rishikesh offers yoga, river rafting on the Ganga, and a deeply spiritual atmosphere at the foothills. Dhanaulti and Chakrata are quiet, forested retreats far from the usual tourist trails, known for their dense deodar canopies and panoramic mountain views. Hatkoti is home to a revered ancient temple and sits at a confluence of rivers in the Pabbar Valley. Narkanda offers high-altitude landscapes and apple country. Tirthan Valley, within the Great Himalayan National Park buffer zone, is a haven for trout fishing, nature walks, and untouched village life. Manali wraps up the journey with its iconic peaks, cafes, and Himalayan culture.

Designed for Genuine Travelers

This tour is designed for travelers who want depth over speed - those who prefer sitting by a mountain stream to rushing through a checklist of sights. Accommodation is arranged in comfortable local guesthouses and heritage stays wherever possible, giving you an authentic sense of place at every stop. Travel is by private air-conditioned vehicle with an English-speaking driver throughout.
